Plan Two Ways Out . . .

This week, October 8-14, 2017, is National Fire Prevention Week! The national theme picked for this year is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!” Here is the safety tip poem we wrote based on the year’s national theme:

Before the suspense mounts
And every second counts,
You should plan two ways out!
Room by room you must scout –
Whether at school or home,
Ev’ry inch you should comb!
Look for the windows and all of the doors!
Know how to find them – even on all fours!

Share this safety tip with your kids and watch the video for more great tips related to planning two ways out! And be sure to participate in this year’s Home Fire Drill Day on October 14! Thanks to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for the video!
