Falls City Community Night
Look For It: April

Hosted by the Falls City Service Integration Team in partnership with the FACES after-school program, this community event traditionally includes a free dinner, children’s activities, and resource information. We are proud to take part in this outreach event each year.

Falls City Summer Celebration Parade (Formerly the Third of July Parade!)
Look For It: Beginning of July
2019 Date: TBD
Your volunteer’s participate in the annual Summer Celebration Parade! The parade starts down at the high school and works its way down Main Street! You’re guaranteed to see a lot of kids, animals, and fire engines!
*Due to City of Falls City and Falls City Fire Association budget constraints, there is no longer an annual Third of July fireworks show.*

National Night Out Block Party
Look For It: First Tuesday of August
2019 Date: Tuesday, August 6, 2018 5-8PM
This community-building event has us partnering with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office! Come join us for food, games, and the chance to get to know your neighbors and first responders better! This year our theme is “Ohana” and we’re having a luau!

Children’s Halloween Party
Annual Date: October 31
2018 Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2018 5-8PM
Come join us for pizza, candy, and a haunted house! The station is a safe and dry spot to trick or treat or just hang out for a bit!

Santa’s Gift Delivery
Look For It: Early November to Early December
2018 Delivery Date: TBD
Parents and guardians can sign children under 18 up each year in November and early December to receive one gift per child. Toys For Tots sign ups are usually available through the local schools. Toys are normally delivered the Wednesday before Christmas by Santa and his elves on a fire engine!

Holiday Food Box Pick Up
Look For It: Early November to Mid December
2018 Pick Up Date: TBD
People can sign up each year in November and December to receive a holiday food box to make a Christmas meal. Sign ups are usually available through the local schools, city hall, Frink’s General Store, and online at Dallas Christmas Cheer. Pick up is normally Christmas Eve at the fire station. There are also various community resources available throughout the year through different organizations.
