Our Apparatus

Falls City

This apparatus was bought by the City of Falls City and is now maintained and operated by the City through the fire department. The equipment also belongs to the City of Falls City, the exception being the air packs. All air packs used by Falls City personnel currently belong to Southwest Polk Rural Fire Protection District.

  • 1965 Ford Western States Fire Equipment
  • 750 GPM Pump
  • Seats 3 of your volunteers
  • Second out city engine
  • Basic wildland hand tools, Float-a-Pump

 

 

SW Polk

This apparatus was bought by Southwest Polk Rural Fire Protection District and is housed at our station through our city contract with Southwest Polk Rural Fire Protection District. It is housed, maintained, and operated by Falls City Fire personnel and funds. This apparatus and equipment is can be picked up at by other Southwest Polk Rural Fire Protection District personnel for use around the district when needed.

  • Seats 5 of your volunteers
  • First out apparatus for calls outside city boundaries
  • Basic hand tools, basic wildland hand tools and equipment, fan, generator, chainsaw, Champion cutter, Champion spreader, RIT kit, step chocks, traffic control equipment, Basic Life Support (BLS) medical equipment
